Obituary of Donald Lewis Dwinell

A memorial service for Donald "Lewie" Dwinell, 67, of Jeffersonville, IN, will be held Saturday, October 7, 2017 at 12 PM at St. Augustine, 315 E Chestnut St in Jeffersonville, IN.  A celebration of life will be held immediately following at the Knights of Columbus, 225 E Market St in Jeffersonville.  Lewie passed away at his home on September 18, 2017.

Lewie was born January 31, 1950 in Chicago, IL to the late Richard and Frances Ryan Dwinell.  He had a love for carpentry, which he was lucky enough to do for the length of his life. Lewie was known for his outgoing personality and could easily make friends with anyone he met.

He is preceded in death by his longtime companion, Sandy Ciresi; and one brother, Richard Dwinell.

He is survived by his children, Audri Jones (Josh), Nolan Dwinell, Lesley Gogan (Shane), Bryan Davenport, Nathan Davenport (Kara); grandchildren, Emma, Benjamin, Maxwell, Jake, and Ian; and sister-in-law, Lilo Dwinell.
