A funeral service for Edith Baker, 95, of Utica, IN will be at 11 AM on Friday, May 11, 2018 at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville, IN. Visitation will be on Thursday, May 10 from 4 – 8 PM and on Friday from 9 – 11 AM at the funeral home. Edith passed away on Sunday, May 6, 2018 at her home.

Edith was born on March 18, 1923 to the late Fred and Hattie Lewis. She was born and raised in Utica, IN and was known for her historical knowledge of the people and the community. Edith had a very kind and generous personality. She was always willing to help those ill and in need. In the spring, she loved working on her flower beds.

Along with her parents, Edith is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Baker; and her brothers and sisters.

Edith is survived by her daughters, Phyllis Bowyer (Dick) and Sue Keith; grandchildren, Chris Bowyer (Jeanie), Matt Bowyer (Pam), and Steve Keith (Laura); five great-grandchildren; three great great-grandchildren; and many close neighbors and friends.
