Obituary of Thomas Lenahan

Thomas Wayne Lenahan 61; Jeffersonville, IN Thomas Wayne Lenahan, 61, of Jeffersonville, IN, passed on the morning of Thursday, March 16, 2017, surrounded by his family and dogs. Tommy is survived by his wife and soulmate, Joan; children and their families: Derek, Meagan, Barrett, Jacob, Brittany, Lorelei, Elliott, Katrina, Ashley, Matt, Declan, and Jude; and his sister Kathy and her husband Steve and their families. Tommy’s love of life was personified by his sense of humor and irresistible smile. He treasured his family, dogs, Oregon, and sports of all kinds. He was a brother at Plumbers Local 502. The family wants to thank friends, coworkers, Drs. LaRocca and Scoggins, and the staff of Norton Cancer Institute of Louisville for support during Tommy's battle. A celebration of Tommy’s life will be held from 2 to 7 PM on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville, IN. A memorial mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Sunday, March 19, 2017 at Scott Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to City of Jeffersonville Special Olympics in Indiana, Sacred Heart School in Jeffersonville, IN, or the Colon Cancer Prevention Project of Jeffersontown, KY.
