Obituary of Paul Otto Broady

Paul Otto Broady, 90, of Jeffersonville, IN, passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at University of Louisville Hospital. Visitation will be held from 3-8 PM on Friday, March 31, 2017 at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Pkwy in Jeffersonville and on Saturday from 9-11 AM. Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery. Paul was born on June 7, 1926 in Memphis, IN to the late Leander and Alice Broady. He was a truck driver for most of his life but he most recently retired from Bales Auto Mall where he worked in the parts department. He was an active member of Oak Park Baptist Church in Jeffersonville. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during WWII. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife Mary Broady; and five siblings. Paul is survived by his four children, Gerald Broady; Jennifer Sue Bicknell and her husband Robert; Doug Broady and his wife Terry; Beverly Ann Clayton; two siblings, Frank Broady; Etta Mae Minton and her husband Charles; sister-in-law, Alice Mae Mertens; eleven grandchildren, Jason Broady and his wife Leslie; Keith Broady and his wife Kristen; Darin Broady and his wife Meredith; Brian Bicknell; Catrisa Goodrich and her husband Jon; Troy Broady; Kyle Broady and his wife Sarah; Cory Broady; Michael Clayton and his wife Kelley; Trisha Clayton; Jennifer Clayton; and sixteen great grandchildren, Erika, Tyler, Benjamin, Samuel, Joshua, Addison, Kayden, Payton, Bennett, Jackson, McKenna, Taylor, Grant, Hadley, Cooper, and Annabel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Samaritan's Purse (Operation Christmas Child) or Oak Park Baptist Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
