Obituary of Lindsey Bleidt-Schwantes

Lindsey Bleidt-Schwantes, 32, of St Matthews passed away Monday April, 17th at University of Louisville Hospital. Born June 25, 1984 in Winchester, KY., she was the daughter of the late John Bleidt and Beverly Brown. She graduated from Sacred Heart Academy and attended Eastern Kentucky University. Lindsey worked as a secretary for Judge Audra Eckerle in Jefferson Circuit Court. She had previously worked in the mail room of the Judicial Center and later worked for Family Court. "Linny" enjoyed good music, good company and flip flops. She is survived by her mother, Beverly Brown of Louisville; two daughters, Kari Leigh and Layla Ann Schwantes; her husband Mark Schwantes; a brother, Josh Bleidt and his wife Amy of Louisville; step brother, Jason Quesenberry of Louisville; step sisters, Joey Quesenberry of Louisville and Frances Ayers of Huntington, WV; nieces, Gabriella Drake, Teanna and Cheyann Franklin; a nephew, Dylan Smith; a stepmother Millicent Durrett of Louisville; an uncle, Joe Molter and his wife Debbie of Louisville; an aunt Liz Salmon and her husband Dennis of Crestwood, as well as several extended family members. A memorial service will be held 1 PM on Friday April 21, 2017 at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway in Jeffersonville, IN. Visitation will be from 11AM to 1PM. Ladies are encouraged to wear flip flops. In lieu of flowers it's asked that donations be made to help support Lindsey's twin daughters.
