Obituary of Karney Thomas

A funeral service for Karney Thomas, 90, of Jeffersonville, IN, will be Saturday, September 2, 2017 at 11 AM at Scott Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Friday, September 1, 2017 from 3 to 8 PM at the funeral home. There will be a Masonic Service at 7 PM on Friday. He passed away on August 27, 2017.

Karney was very active in the Masonic Lodge and Kosair Shriners. He served in the army, and was a veteran of WWII, which he showed great pride in. He was also a member at Cook Memorial Church in Jeffersonville.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Everett and Katherine Thomas; one brother and one sister.

He is survived by his loving wife Dolores “Dodie” Thomas; son, Steve Thomas (Lisa), John Edwards (Paula); daughter, Linda Cardwell; grandchildren, Jonathan Edwards, Kristine Edwards, Cameron Edwards, Kailey Edwards, and Miranda Thomas.
