Dorothy Baker, 88, of Clarksville, IN passed away on August 29, 2017 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on February 5, 1929 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Raymond Tapper and Elizabeth Zapinsky.

Dorothy cared deeply for her grandchildren. She loved reading and was known to be very intelligent and organized. Dorothy undoubtedly and always spoke up for what she believed in, and she was a very strong mother who raised her children on her own.

Dorothy is survived by her children, Lynne Sparks and George Baker (Rosanne); grandchildren, Timothy Austin Spink, Brenton James Spink, Weston Wayne Sparks, Taylor Layne Sparks, Michael Edward Baker, Crystal Lynne Baker, Joshua James Baker, and Stephanie Ramage; great-grandchildren, Chelsea Redden, Ronnie Sparks, and Bobbie Sparks; great great-grandchild, Chloe, and many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins including Donna and Mary Lynn.
