Obituary of Dora LaVerne Stephens

~~Dora LaVerne Stephens, 72, of Jeffersonville, IN, passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at her home.  Cremation has been chosen and a celebration of her life will be held at a later date.  Scott Funeral Home has been entrusted with her care. 
Dora was born on October 6, 1944 in Louisville, KY, to the late Chester and Irene Sharp.  She worked many years as a treasurer for United Masonry of Virginia.  In her free time, she enjoyed little theatre but what she loved most was to shop online for her family and grandchildren.  Dora loved her family and friends fiercely, kindly, and deeply.  She will be missed.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Joan Guenthner.
Dora is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Ben Stephens; her daughter, Amy Stephens and her husband Gregory Endress; four grandchildren, Alex Endress, Andy Endress, Aubrey Endress, Aidan Endress; and two sisters, Bernice Cook and Ilean Sharp.
