He was preceded in death by his father, Alfred L. Ross Sr.; brother, Charles A. Ross; grandparents, Andrew W. Lawton Sr., and Mr. and Mrs. Charles O. Ross Sr.; uncles, Charles O. Ross Jr., Lanny D. Ross, Andrew W. Lawton Jr., Daniel D. Lawton and Steve Very; and aunts, Nancy Marie Ross and Beverly K. Lawton.

He is survived by his mother, Frances M. “Sissie” Ross of Charlestown; sisters, Barbara A. Christian of Charlestown, and Sandy M. Ross of Underwood; grandmother, Frances E. Lawton of Jeff; uncles and aunts, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph W. Ross Sr. of Jeff, Mr. and Mrs.  Ronnie R. Ross of Jeff, Charlotte Very of Jeff, Patty Blessett of Otisco, Janice Ross of Jeff, and Juanita  Lawton of Jeff.
