Funeral services for Aleene Jacqueline Dismore, 88, of Jeffersonville, IN, will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville, with entombment to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.  Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 PM on Friday and after 9 AM on Saturday at the funeral home.  She passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2017.

Aleene was an active member of Southeast Christian Church and an excellent cook.  She retired after 43 years as a Supervisor in Payroll at the Indiana Army Ammunition Plant. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Iola Haub; brothers, Kenneth Haub, Calvin Haub, and Carl “Blackie” Haub.

She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, William “Bill” Dismore; sister, Vada Leavitt; nephews, Dan Leavitt, and Bill Haub; nieces, Carla Sale (Tony), Rebecca Knipp, and Theresa Haub; and several great-nieces and nephews.
