Obituary of Martin N. Weidner

A funeral service for Martin “Nick” Weidner, 75, of Nabb, Indiana will be on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 1 PM at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville,IN. Visitation will be Friday from 2 – 8 PM and Saturday from 11 – 1 PM at the funeral home. Nick passed away on January 13, 2018 after a hard fought battle with cancer.

Nick was born on June 6, 1942 to Edward L. and Elizabeth Weidner. He worked as a machinist at the old Logan Company and Ziniz for several years. Nick was known for his love of the outdoors and working in the wood.

Nick is preceded in death by his parents, Edward L. and Elizabeth Weidner; son, Nickie B. Weidner; step son, Howard Cook, Jr; grandson, Bryon Weidner; brothers, Charles Weidner and George Weidner; and sister, Mildred Bailey.

He is survived by his wife, Treshia Wanzine Weidner; children, Jackie Clemons, Theresa Knapp (Jim), William Weidner (Marcie), and Susan Weidner; step daughters, Charmaine Miller (David), Revonna Rogers (Jim), Charlotte Pepper, and Yolanda Vaughn; 23 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of close friends.
