Mildred Tunget, 87, of Jeffersonville, IN, passed away on January 21, 2018 at Baptist Health Louisville.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville, IN with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 PM on Friday and after 9 AM on Saturday at the funeral home. 

Mildred was a strong Christian lady who was a longtime member of First Baptist Church Jeffersonville.  She was a great mother and a friend to many.  She loved to play euchre with Preacher Jerry and her friends. 

She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Vernon "Pop" Tunget;  parents, Davy and Nellie Tash; and five siblings.

She is survived by her two sons, Don Tunget (Kay), and Gary Tunget (Beckie); grandchildren, Joe, Jeff, Jim, Josh, Jon, Jennifer and Angela; and great-grandchildren, Alana, Brylee, Alex, Molly, Colton, Cameron, Chloe, Avery, Adele and Ava.
