Obituary of John E. Blunk, Sr.

A funeral service John E. Blunk, Sr., 82, of Clarksville, IN will be Friday, January 26, 2018 at 1 PM at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville, IN.  Visitation will be Thursday from 4-8 and Friday from 11-1 at the funeral home.  He passed away January 22, 2018. 

John was born August 15, 1935 in Scott Co., IN. to William and Alma Applegate Blunk.  He owned and operated his own appliance service store, was a member of several local Historical Societies and past Scout Master of Troop 10. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, and his wife of 55 years, Jane. 

Survivors include his son John E. Blunk, Jr. (Debra), son Bill Blunk (Rachael), and daughter Donita Bower (David); grandchildren Jason Goode, Keegan Blunk, Casey Blunk, Sarah Bower, Cody Blunk, and Alexis Blunk; great grandchildren Alexis Goode and Angus Horine.
