Obituary of Dorothy Dunz

Funeral services for Dorothy Dunz, 83, of Clarksville, IN, will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Pkwy in Jeffersonville, with burial to follow in Charlestown Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2-8 PM and after 9 AM on Thursday until the time of the service.  She passed away on Sunday, February 18, 2018 at Wedgewood Health Care Center in Clarksville. 

Dorothy was born on April 7, 1934 in Scottsburg, IN, to the late Ernest and Bessie Stricker.  She was a homemaker and a previous member of the Meigs Avenue Church of Christ.  Dorothy was currently attending Northside Church of Christ and loved being involved with the different church functions.  She was an avid reader and enjoyed working crossword puzzles.    

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Josephine Blankenbaker.

Dorothy is survived by her son, Michael Stricker (Amanda); three granddaughters, Trisha McAfee (Matt); Christy Steward; Megan Vega (Luis); and five great grandchildren, Lexie, Peyton, Sean, Blaine, and Emma.
