Marilyn Joyce Adams, 85, of Jeffersonville, IN, passed away on February 25, 2018 surrounded by her family. 

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville, with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 2 to 8 PM on Friday and after 10 AM on Saturday at the funeral home. 

Marilyn was a member of Cook Memorial United Methodist Church in Jeffersonville since 1964, and also volunteered for 23 years at Clark Memorial Hospital. 

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 34 years, John William Adams; parents, Owen and Albertina Stanfield; brothers, Harold Stanfield and Richard Stanfield; sisters, Marguerite Pilman, Kathryn Mayfield, Doris Eble and JoAnn Steider.

She is survived by her two sons, David Alan Adams (Paula) of Jeffersonville, IN, and Dennis Brian Adams (Barbie) of Plainfield, IN; grandchildren, Jonathan Adams, Hayley Adams and Sydney Adams; and many nieces and nephews.

Expressions of sympathy can be made to the American Cancer Society.  Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
