John Nicholas Saar Sr., 62, of Jeffersonville, IN, passed away on March 26, 2018. 

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville, with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 2 to 8 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home. 

John was a proud Veteran of the United States Army and a member of the Jeffersonville American Legion Post #35.  Before retiring he drove for USF Holland for many years.  He loved life and the people surrounding him. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Norman Saar and Martha Ann Saar; and aunt, Patty Caswell.

He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Lorrie Saar; son, John Nicholas Saar Jr. (Sarah) of Jeffersonville; three grandchildren, Dade, Payton and Brayden; siblings, Larry Saar (Mike Shields), Lisa Hayes (Bill) and Rhonda Fleig (Donnie); numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
