Obituary of Douglas Leo Bishop

A memorial service for Douglas L. “Doug” Bishop, 58, of Borden IN will be Monday, April 16, 2018 at 6 PM at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veteran Parkway, Jeffersonville, IN.  Visitation will be Monday from 11 – 6 at the funeral home.  He passed away April 12, 2018 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. 

Doug was born June 16, 1959 to parents Henry “Jerry” and Vivian Bishop.  He is preceded in death by his father, brother Alan Bishop, and 2 sisters, Gail M. and Angela M. Bishop. 

He was a machinist and worked for J & J and Floyd Co. Machine. 

Survivors include his wife Cynthia; daugthers Shelbi Bishop, and Allison Dorman (Caleb); step son, Christopher Becker; mother, Vivian Bishop; siblings: Terry Bishop (Debbie), Vickie Wilson (Clifford), Deborah Crawford (Ralph), Karen Stoner (Scott), Denis Bishop (Donna), and Curtis Bishop; and a grandson on the way.
