Gilbert Grimm passed away on June 28, 2018 at his home in Clarksville, Indiana. His urn will be placed in the New Albany National Cemetery, 1943 Ekin Ave, New Albany, IN 47150, at 11 AM on Friday, July 13, 2018 with military honors.

Gilbert was born on February 24, 1945 to the late Charles and Romilda Grimm. He retired from Moore Security as a security guard.

Along with his parents, Gilbert is preceded in death by his sisters, Carmen Bennett, Charlene Bagshaw, and Ada Grimm; and brothers, Dee Grimm, Arthur Grimm and Dale Grimm.

Gilbert is survived by his two daughters, Debbie McBirth (Charles) and Vikkie Grimm; grandchildren, Christopher Grimm, Allen Herron, Jr., Derek McBirth, Matthew McBirth (Allison), and Joshua McBirth; great grandchildren, Ava Harlow and Asa McBirth; and brother, Schubert Grimm.
