Obituary of Marcella E. Hedden

A funeral service for Marcella E. Hedden, 96, of Clarksville, IN will be Friday, July 27, 2018 at 1 PM at New Chapel Methodist Church, 5616 New Chapel Rd, Jeffersonville, IN 47130.  Burial will follow in New Chapel Cemetery.   Visitation will be from 11 AM until time of service at the church.  She passed away July 21, 2018. 

She was born January 20 1922 in Sullivan Co., IN to parents Ralph and Elsie Eaton.  She was the widow of Rev. Paul Hedden, a United Methodist minister, and a former resident of Indianapolis, she was employed with Dow Chemical.   She was a 50 year member of the Eastern Star in Indianapolis, a member of the Town and Country Home, Ladies Union Club, and New Chapel United Methodist Church.  She loved growing flowers and her dog, Susie.  She will dearly be missed by her friends.  

Mrs. Hedden was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Rev. Paul Hedden; and two sisters, Marian Adams of Terre Haute, IN and Phyllis Milligan, of Columbus, IN.
