Obituary of Bernard Paul Vissing Sr.

Funeral services for Bernard Paul Vissing Sr., 86, of Jeffersonville, IN, will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Jeffersonville, with burial to follow in Queen of Heaven Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 5 to 8 PM at Scott Funeral Home.  He passed away on Friday, September 28, 2018.

Bernie was a retired Insurance Salesman for Constitution Life and a proud Veteran of the United States Army. 

Bernie co-hosted with his wife, The Champagne Brunch and Broadcast on many occasions.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 56 years, Elizabeth “Liz” Vissing; and parents, Herman and Mary Vissing.

He is survived by her three sons, Paul Vissing Jr., Derek Vissing (Imelda) and Michael Vissing; sister, Terry Grant; and six grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Colder, Anthony, James, Jan and Adeline.
