Funeral services for Karen Gough, 66, of Jeffersonville, IN, will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville, IN, with entombment at Walnut Ridge Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Saturday from 12 to 2 PM at the funeral home.  She passed away on Sunday, October 21, 2018. 

Bucky was the love of her life, even before he knew it.  They started dating in high school, but Karen had her eye on him since Kindergarten.  She helped Bucky start Clarksville Animal Hospital on May 15, 1978, before becoming a homemaker.  She loved their three beautiful daughters and five precious grandchildren and enjoyed raising her family.  She had a great love of animals, especially her French Bulldogs, Emma, and most recently, Margo.  She had a passion for reading, watching movies, shopping for her grandchildren, and playing games on her iPad.  It was important to celebrate each and every holiday and to make them beautiful both visually and symbolically.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Donna Williamson.

She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Dr. H.R. Gough, of Jeffersonville, IN; three children, Megan Gough, Laura Gough, and Erin Jones and her husband Cullen; five grandchildren, Ashton Gough, Tristan Gough, Vivian Gough, Raegan Jones, and Nora Christina Jones; and her French bulldog, Margo.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Jeffersonville Township Library.  Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
