Obituary of David Woodson

Funeral services for David Woodson, 84, of Jeffersonville, IN, will be held at 12 PM on Monday, October 29, 2018 at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Pkwy in Jeffersonville, with burial to follow in Cave Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10-12 PM at the funeral home.  He passed away on Wednesday, October 24, 2018. 

David was born on October 11, 1934 in Glasgow, KY, to the late William D. and Mary Elizabeth Woodson.  He proudly served his country in the United States Navy and was retired from Kelley Technical Coatings where he served as Vice President and Treasurer.  David loved showing his beagle dogs with his wife Gladys and he enjoyed playing golf.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Art Woodson.

He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Gladys Woodson; seven siblings, Jane Hoyt; Mary Rapier; Ralph Woodson (Alma); Billy Woodson (Linda); Urey Woodson; George Woodson (Rita); Sara Beth Luttrell (Bill); numerous nieces, nephews, cousins; and his faithful companion, Munchkin.  

Memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.  Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
