Randel E. Trebing Jr. – 70, Jeffersonville, IN

Joint memorial services for Robert A. Trebing, 69 and Randel E. Trebing Jr., 70 will be held at 5:00 PM on Tuesday, November 20, 2018, at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville, IN. Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM preceding the service.

Robert (Bob) passed away on July 15, 2018 at Norton Hospital in Louisville, KY.

Bob grew up in Clarksville, IN until the family relocated to Pennsylvania during his senior year of high school.  Bob attended Indiana University Southeast and Middle Tennessee State University focusing studies in Theatre and Communications before relocating to New York City to pursue acting full-time. Bob eventually relocated back to Southern Indiana where he continued his acting career primarily at Music Theatre Louisville and Derby Dinner Playhouse. He worked for the Greater Clark County School System as a Teacher’s Aide at Bridgepoint Elementary and Corden Porter. 

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Randel E. Trebing and Norma A. Trebing and sister, Ann K. Landers. He is survived by his nephew, Andrew P. Landers and multiple cousins in the Andres and Trebing families.

 

Randel E. Trebing Jr.
70, Jeffersonville, IN

Randel (Randy) passed away on August 2, 2018 at Hillcrest Village in Clarksville, IN.

Randy grew up in Clarksville, IN. Randy attended Indiana University where he studied Education and was an active member of the Indiana University Athletic Association. Randy was a veteran of the US Armed Forces where he served on active duty in the Vietnam War and later as a member of the US Army Reserves for 35 years. Randy later worked as a substitute teacher at multiple schools in the Greater Clark County School System before finding a permanent home at Corden Porter where he continued to volunteer beyond retirement. In addition to his work in the school community Randy was also a regular fixture in the Clark County Soccer Association where he acted as both a volunteer coach and referee. 

Randy was preceded in death by his parents, Randel E. Trebing and Norma A. Trebing; sister, Ann K. Landers; and brother, Robert A. Trebing. He is survived by his nephew, Andrew P. Landers and multiple cousins in the Andres and Trebing families.
