Dear Thresa, Ashley, Andrew: You have my deepest and most sincere sympathies in your loss of your husband and father. Psalms 147:3 says of Almighty God: "He heals the brokenhearted; He binds up their wounds." Pray for the comfort only Almighty God can give and in time, He will heal your broken heart. Also keep in mind and heart the hope we have of seeing our loved ones again in the resurrection 'of the righteous and the unrighteous' (Acts 24:15). Yes, a bringing back to life, here on earth, where we can be see and be with our beloved family .... This is a promise from Almighty God who cannot lie (Titus 1:2).... Then we will live on a beautifully restored earth where there will never again be sickness, sorrow or death. (Revelation 21:3, 4; Psalms 37:11, 29; Isaiah 33:24; Isaiah 11:6-9). At that time all the broken hearts will be healed....Please cut, paste and watch the attached short comforting video: https://www.jw.org/finder?wtlocale=E&docid=502017858&srcid=share

Thresa, One of my favorite memories as an eighth grade swimmer on the summer swim team was at Ewing Lane Pool when I was talking with you and Wayne. You two were talking about getting engaged, going to college and getting married. I can just remember how you two always had it together, had great plans and were great leaders. Prayers of comfort to you and your family.

Senior Judge Daniel Moore posted a condolence

I first met Wayne long some years ago when i was working for the Clark County Commissioners and they needed a renovation at the courthouse for (then) Superior Court No 2, while George "Buz" Jacobs was the judge in office. I began a lifetime of being impressed with his insights and skills. When I later worked with him in renovation of Greenacres School his boundless energy and amazing creativity showed itself again. Most recently he gave of his time, and brought his associates into the planning, for a Public Safety Center in the town of Utica.
On the business side like those projects cited above I can accurately say that each time I introduced new people from public sector work to Wayne they were immediately impacted by the wealth of his ideas and knowledge.
As I got to know him on the personal side of his life I learned of many kind things he did besides professional design work. He was generous to many people in our community who were less fortunate in their lives. He kept an upbeat view of life and was a "hard charger" in every task he undertook, whether for design work or for a project to help others.
Wayne has a great family, While no one can adequately explain a loss like this many people in our community pray for them as they try to deal with his departure and it aftermath. I would join in another note I read here that, if it is possible in the place where Wayne is now, it would not be surprising that he might be making suggestions to re-design a few rooms or locations in that next place.
My entire family extends our prayers and condolences to Wayne's family. He will be long remembered in our county . May he rest in peace.

Mr. Estopinal was a fantastic man that I will always remember. My relationship with him was just a simple task of being his service advisor for his automobiles. We hit it off the first time he came in for service and he would always use me exclusively any time he needed something for any of his vehicles and the way he carried himself, so positive, it was contagious. He was always in a hurry because he was such a busy man but that never stopped him from being consistently polite, give me advice, a compliment or just a pat on the shoulder and that contagious smile of his always brightened my day. I will miss you Mr. Estopinal, my sincere condolences to the family.

I am so sad to hear this news. “Mr. Wayne”, as I always called him, was truly one of a kind. After knowing my dad for a long time through Willis Knighton, Mr. Wayne offered me an internship at TEG which I will forever be grateful for. I learned so much there and it helped me grow in my interior design career. I enjoyed seeing him daily, as he always had a smile on his face and was so easy to talk to. Once I moved back to Shreveport, we kept in touch via email and Facebook, as he would check in on me and seeing how life and my career were going. He even wrote me a phenomenal recommendation letter for a new job, at the beginning of this year. Most people tend to “forget” people they dont see for awhile, not Mr. Wayne. It just goes to show you what a wonderful person he was. I am so grateful to have his words on paper and will always remember him.
My love and prayers go out to his family. I am thinking about each of you on a daily basis.

Wayne was a class act in every sense of the word. He loved his family, his job, his community and his alma mater. His architectural work made a difference in numerous communities.
I was fortunate to meet him during my work as State Democratic Chairman during the term of Governor Frank O'Bannon and he was a strong supporter of the Governor. His work on behalf of Ball State has helped generations of students make their way through college and helped put Ball State on the map at the regional and national level.
Let us all remember the contributions that Wayne made to make a difference and to remember the words of Winston Churchill, "You make a living by what you get. You make a life by what you give." Wayne gave so much that benefited all of us.
God bless you Wayne and God bless your family and friends.

I am so sad to hear of Wayne’s passing and will fondly remember him serving on the Clark Memorial Foundation where I served as Foundation Development Assistant. His charm, brilliant ideas, leadership in working tirelessly on the Hospital’s new construction and renovation projects and his generous giftt of time to friends and strangers alike are a few of the qualities that made Wayne so beloved on both sides of the river. He will forever be in our hearts. Godspeed Wayne!

Wayne will be dearly missed. I spent nine (9) years of my professional life working as the Director of Electrical Engineering for TEG. I was the first Engineer ever hired by Wayne Estopinal to work directly for the firm and he provided me with many tremendous opportunities for professional development and growth. I would not be where I am today had I not known and worked for Wayne Estopinal. Wayne taught me and others that worked for him that, whether you're working on a project or navigating through every day life, there will be obstacles to overcome but you either go around them, over them or through them to achieve your goals and objectives. After leaving TEG for a new career opportunity more than (8) years ago, it didn't take long for me to appreciate Wayne Estopinal's drive and dedication. I'll always remember a quote that Wayne often used when contractors were attempting to Value Engineer one of his projects, he would say, "I've never seen a project shrink to greatness!" Rest in Peace Wayne Estopinal!

If we are lucky, life blesses us with the opportunity to cross paths with remarkable people. Wayne certainly fits that description not only in my life but in the lives of many.
Professionally, he was at the top of his game. His feel for design and his knack for creative yet functional solutions was second to none. He was driven to succeed and was remarkable in his work ethic.
Personally, he exuded a love for life, especially for his family and for soccer. Rarely did our conversations not include an update on Thresa, Ashley and Andrew. He loved them dearly.
