Obituary of Dorothy Lagreta Northern

Dorothy Lagreta Northern, 67, of Jeffersonville, IN, passed away on January 18, 2019. 

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville, IN, with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 10 AM to 12 PM at the funeral home.

Dorothy was a graduate of Shortridge High School in Indianapolis, IN. She loved spending time with her family, especially over the holidays and celebrations.   Dorothy most of all loved her grandchildren.  She helped raise them, encourage them through life and share her Christian beliefs and love of the Lord. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Garfield Bradley and Olivia Bradley; siblings, Deb Bradley, Billy Bradley, Peggy Bradley, and Dennis Bradley.

She is survived by her three sons, Don Bradley (Tracy), William Northern and Bryant Northern; grandchildren, Cheri’ Bradley, Armande Bradley, Cameron Northern, Kierra Hudgens, Kennady Northern, Branden Northern, and Elijah Northern; great-grandchildren, Si'Ana, Bre'Ana, and Cayden; siblings, Truman Bradley, Barbara Taylor, Sandra Booker, Darlene Bradley, Maria Ford, Denise Thomas, Linda McClendon, Perry Bradley, and Jacqueline Bradley; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Expressions of sympathy can be made to the American Cancer Society.  Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
