Obituary of John Prince
John “Bumper” Prince
43; Jeffersonville, IN
John “Bumper” Prince, 43, of Jeffersonville, IN, passed away on March 6, 2019.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on March 17, 2019 at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville, IN. Visitation will be held from 12 to 2 PM on Sunday at the funeral home.
Bump was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Durbin Prince and Melvin Prince; and his sister, Kelly Prince.
To say Bump was rich in friendships was an understatement. He never met a stranger or had an enemy in 43 years of life. He was our shoulder to lean on, and our friend to share the best laughs. He will be remembered as the kindest of hearts, with the BEST sense of humor. Like many of his friends that were like family, he loved the UK Wildcats.
He was happiest with a simple day of watching sports, laughing with friends, and having a beer. He was loyal, loving and we will never be the same without him.
The care of his dog, Abby, was left with friends so that she continues to have the best life and all the chicken nuggets.
He leaves behind many broken-hearted friends and family. They hold four decades of the best memories. If you were lucky enough to be his friends, your best times were spent with him. We love you, Bumper.
The family and friends ask that all attendees wear only Blue or University of Kentucky clothing in memory of Bump and his love for his Wildcats.
Expressions of sympathy can be made in loving memory of Bumper at the funeral home or at www.scottfuneralhome.com
