I will miss many things anout Rev. Bellamy. His consistency. His words of encouragement to me. His powerful prayer before the Word of God was taught. His determination to stay on the narrow road. I shed tears because I miss his presence. There is joy knowing he is at peace with that great cloud of witnesses and great leader.

It’s painful to see one of our loved ones going home. But it’s comforting to know that we will see him soon; We most enjoy the loving memories he left behind until we unite again. Dear family, and friends, we pray for strength and comfort for you all at this time of sorrow.
Rev. Bellamy was a faithful servant of the Lord at Christ Gospel Church. Always at the front at the beginning of service, with a sweet smile for everyone. He praised the Lord with reverence and respect. He set a great example for all of us to follow. We will never forget the way he used to pray; singing his prayer like no one else. He will live in our hearts forever.

My condolences to you all, on the passing of your Father. He was a mighty man of character, never wavering in his belief, dignity and pride as a natural black man and a spiritual man of God. He gave his all, with all his might. I'm honored to say he and your Mother were great friends to my Family. Your Dad was a Father to many. You all are in my continued prayers.

Dear Bellamy Family;
Rev. Bellamy was a pillar in the CGC Family. He was a Masterbuilder in his confidence and loyalty to God first and then to this Message and Rev. B.R. Hicks. He was especially kind to us when we first relocated to Jeffersonville from NC. We liked to call him, "The Godfather" because when you were with him, you felt safe. Now, he is safe in the Arms of Jesus. We are sending our love and prayers to each of you. May you feel the Spirit of Peace and Comfort during this time. We love you. God bless. The Loftuses

I loved Rev Bellamy so very much. My fondest memories of him are from my younger years. I would get in trouble for talking and sent to sit with him in the Sunday school office. He would let me pick a toy from the treasure chest. He always had a big hug and smile for me. Rev Bellamy will be sorely missed by me, my family and the members of our church. Our prayers are with the family and we hope they know how much he was loved.
