Don Gagel, 76, of Jeffersonville, IN, passed away on April 23, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. 

A Celebration of Life reception will be held from 3 to 6 PM on Friday at The Carriage House at Howard Steamboat Museum, 1101 E. Market St., Jeffersonville, IN, followed by a memorial service at 6:00 PM.  Scott Funeral Home of Jeffersonville has been entrusted with his arrangements.

Don retired after 32 years from the Ford Motor Company Kentucky Truck Plant in Louisville, KY.  He was a lover of classic cars, and is a member of the National Street Rod Association.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Chester Gagel and Adelene Brickey; and his fur babies, Jack, Butch, Ginger, and Petey.

He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Diane Gagel; children, Scott Gagel (Jennifer), Danielle Gagel-Overton (Rob), Tara Turk-Gagel (Rachel), Tracy Wortham (Greg); grandchildren, Tanner Wortham (Alex), Mackenzie Wortham, Cooper Turk-Gagel, and Liam Turk-Gagel; and faithful companion, Sadie.
