Obituary of Bryan Edward Graves

Bryan Edward Graves, 82, of Charlestown, IN, passed away on May 1, 2019 surrounded by family. 

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at First Presbyterian Church, 222 Walnut Street, Jeffersonville, IN, with burial to follow next to his wife of 50 years, Frances Graves, at Walnut Ridge Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 PM on Tuesday at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville, and after 9 AM on Wednesday at the church. 

Bryan was an Elder at Jeffersonville First Presbyterian Church and served on the property committee.  He was a proud Purdue University Graduate with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.  After retiring from ICI Army Ammunition Plant, he enjoyed his clock business.  He loved to play bridge, skeet shoot and play the organ. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Dorothy Graves; and twin-sister, Gail Graves.

He is survived by his two children, Guy Graves (Shirley Mohren-Graves), and Katherine Ahrens (Kenny); and four grandchildren, Geoffrey Graves, Corinne Graves (Michael June), Brice Ahrens, and Abby Ahrens.
