Obituary of Linda Sue (Letner) Parry

Linda Sue (Letner) Parry, 80 years of age peacefully passed on May 8, 2019 at Kindred Hospital. She was born July 10, 1938 in Danville, IL the daughter of Martha and Otis Letner.

Linda was a loving wife and mother to 3 Children.  She loved music, planting flowers, and anything to do with her children.  She was proud of each and every one of her children and grandchildren and she was always their biggest cheerleader in anything that they did.

She was preceded in death by her son, Kevin Parry; and her granddaughter, Mara Cymbalist. 

She is survived by her loving husband, Jim Parry of Jeffersonville, IN; her 2 daughters Julie Brooks (and husband Scott) of Hanover Park, IL, and Lisa Cymbalist (and husband Andy) of Jeffersonville, IN; loving daughter-in-law, Sherry Parry of Clarksville, IN.  She has 6 grandchildren: Lauren Parry of Clarksville, IN, Kennedy Brooks of Locust Grove, GA, Hannah Brooks of Greenville, SC, Seth Brooks of Hanover Park, IL, Daylen and Miriam Cymbalist of Jeffersonville, IN.  She is also survived by her little sister Karen Webster, Mattoon, IL.  She also has many nieces and nephews as well.

The funeral ceremony will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville, IN, with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 10 AM to 1 PM on Saturday at the funeral home.
