My beloved son Craig, My dear daughter Ashley, and my precious granddaughter, Hannah: My heart has broken with your alls. You both are the best parents I know & Hannah is the sweetest big sister. Baby Graysons life has already touched so many. As you walk through this most painful valley, there are no words to make this make sense. All I am certain of is at this time God is walking along side of each you all and is faithful to His promises. As we place our sorrows and suffering in God's hands, we find God redeems the suffering and uses it for good. Craig, I already see you doing this which is a testimony to your faith and an inspiration to others. You are wise beyond your years and truly an example of faith and integrity. You and Ashley have handled this with so much grace and humility. God is in you all and I see the strength He is giving you all. As you said son, God will help others through your testimony. You all are living proof that everything that the enemy uses to try to destroy us can instead be used for God's glory if we trust in Him. I see your all's trust in Him. Psalm 34:18
"The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." He is so close to you all right now. I love you all deeply. Momma/Nan

My friend, Roxanna Farris, told me about Grayson. We both cried as we looked at his precious, sweet, innocent, happy, loving smile and face. I have no words that could ease your pain even for a moment, and I share in your sorrow and grief that must be unbearable. I pray this tree that is planted in Grayson's honor will grow big and strong and the safe haven and shelter it provides to wildlife somehow represent Grayson's ongoing life in another realm. My sincere condolences for the loss of your loved one. As you cope with this loss, may you be comforted by the “Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort.” (2 Cor. 1:3) And the hope that soon, “all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.” (John 5:28, 29) May these promises from God's word, the Bible give you strength and a hope for the future.
