A funeral service for Maverick Ilie Hanka of New Albany, IN will be at 7 PM on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville, IN. Visitation will be on Tuesday, from 4 PM – 7 PM at the funeral home. Maverick passed away on May 15, 2019 at Norton Children’s Hospital.

Maverick was born on March 4, 2019 to Aaron and Morgan Hanka. Maverick was Mommy and Daddy’s Sweet Baby Boy. He was known for his big, beautiful smile and impeccable strength. His legacy will continue on in the hearts of those who loved him, and he will always be his mommy’s sunshine.

Left to Cherish Maverick’s memory are his parents, Aaron and Morgan Hanka; maternal grandparents, Eddie and Terri Wells and Kinneth and Ilene Griffy; paternal grandparents, Charlie and Vickie Hanka; great grandparents, Don and Wanda Miller and Bill and Edith Hanka; and a host of extended family members.

The family would like to express their gratitude for all of the expressions and acts of kindness extended to them during this time.
