Obituary of Suzanne Marie Nelson

Suzanne Marie Nelson, 49, of Jeffersonville, IN, passed away on May 27, 2019 surrounded by her family. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 PM on Sunday, June 2, 2019 at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville, IN.  Visitation will be held from 2 to 8 PM on Saturday and from 11 to 1 PM on Sunday at the funeral home. 

Suzanne was born on April 9, 1970 in New Albany, IN, and graduated from Providence High School Class of 1988.  Suzanne and David were married on April 16, 1990 and were proud parents of Janel and Lindsey.  She loved spending her time sipping on a great glass of wine with her beloved family and friends, and her walks and cuddle time with Baxter.

She was preceded in death by her father, John Dunlap.

She is survived by her loving husband of 29 years, David M. Nelson; two daughters, Janel Nelson and Lindsey Nelson; mother, Patricia Henderson (Michael); siblings, Mark Dunlap and Tim Dunlap; step-brother, Michael henderson Jr.; step-sister, Melenia Pounce DeLeon; and her pup, Baxter.

Expressions of sympathy can be made to the Southern Indiana Relay for Life.  Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
