Obituary of J.C. McGuire

J.C. McGuire, 84, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2019.  Private services will be held at a later date in Alabama.  Cremation was chosen and Scott Funeral Home has been entrusted with his care. 

J.C. was born on August 4, 1934 in Ardmore, Alabama, to the late Bee and Pauline McGuire.  He was retired from Pillsbury Company and was an avid golfer and Alabama football fan.    

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Amelia “Midge” McGuire; and five siblings, Dot McGuire, Helen McGuire, Barbara Trammel, Sarah Morningstar and Richard McGuire.

J.C. is survived by his five children, Cathy Maier, Jimmy McGuire, Mary McGuire, Rita Hall, Jay Cee McGuire; three siblings, Carl McGuire, Jimmie McGuire, Donnie McGuire; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
