Obituary of Curtis Gene Pittman

72; Memphis, IN

Curtis Gene Pittman, 72, of Memphis, IN, passed away on June 19, 2019 at home surrounded by his family. 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, June 24, 2019 at Christ Gospel Church International, 2614 E. 10th Street, Jeffersonville, with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 9 to 11 AM on Monday at the church.  Scott Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements. 

Curtis was a proud Veteran of the United States Army and employed at JeffBoat as a Steel Fitter for 44 years before retiring.  He was a lifelong member of Christ Gospel Church and enjoyed spending his time with his family, riding and caring for his horses.  

He was preceded in death by his father, Dee Pittman.

He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Darlene Pittman; mother, Eva Pittman; two sons, Curtis Pittman (Christa), and Jared Pittman; four siblings, Phyllis Wright, Sharon Rakes (Jim), Diane Benson (Eddie), and Patricia Pedroza (Ismael); three grandchildren, Paige Elizabeth Pittman, Isabella Grace Pittman, and Jared Ryan Pittman; and several nieces and nephews.
