A funeral service for Nancy K. Canter, 71, of Jeffersonville, IN will be at 11 AM on Thursday, July 18, 2019 at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville, IN, with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 17, from 4 PM – 8 PM and Thursday, from 10 AM – 11 AM at the funeral home. Nancy passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Nancy was born on August 25, 1947 to William and Violet Rogers. She was a graduate of Jeff High School. Nancy was a hard worker and dedicated employee to Baptist Hospital for over 45 years. Most importantly, she enjoyed time spent with family, and adored being a “Grammie” to her grandchildren.

Nancy is preceded in death by her father, William W. Rogers.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Charles “Chuck” Canter; children, Beth Valentine and Chip Canter (Jennifer); mother, Violet Rogers; sister, Cheryl Rogers; brothers, William “Bill” Rogers (Sue) and Charles “Chuck” Rogers (Ann); grandchildren, Aaron, Eric, Brooke, Chase, Evan, and Zack; and great-grandchildren, Mia, Roman, Trey, Reece, Tilly, and Livia.
