Obituary of Mary Ann Reas
Mary Ann Reas, 93, formerly of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at her daughter’s home in Springfield, Kentucky. Mary will be laid to rest next to her late husband, Richard Lewis Reas in Graceland Mausoleum. Scott Funeral Home has been entrusted with her care.
Mary was born on January 15, 1926 in Buechel, Kentucky, to the late Christian and Mary Eliza Roemer. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Luke’s United Church of Christ in Jeffersonville.
Along with her husband and parents, Mary was preceded in death by two brothers, Rev. John Roemer, and C.B. Roemer.
Mary is survived by her two loving children, Stephen Reas and Rebecca Clements; one brother, Julius Roemer; one granddaughter, Heather Ross (Nathan); and four great grandchildren.
