Evan M. Grose, 36, of New Albany, IN passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at Baptist Health in New Albany.

A celebration of life will be at 10 AM on Thursday, August 29, 2019 at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville, IN. Visitation for Evan will be on Wednesday, August 28 from 3 PM – 8 PM at the funeral home.

Evan was born on April 26, 1983 in Louisville, KY. Following graduation, Evan obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. He was very intelligent and also enjoyed reading. Evan seemed to know facts about everything. This sparked his interest in Jeopardy and other trivia games. He was an excellent cook. He was also an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching the Hoosiers, Indianapolis Colts, and Atlanta Braves. He also enjoyed time spent with family and was a great uncle to his nieces and nephews.

Evan is preceded in death by his paternal grandpa, William Grose; and maternal grandparents, Paul and Mitchelene Jacobs.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Rhonda and Rick Grose; siblings, Chris Grose and Jenna Teague (Micah); niece, Sienna Teague; nephew, Maclin Teague; paternal grandmother, Loretta Grose; aunts, Jan Templeton (Bill) and Linda Schuld (John); uncles, Steve Jacobs (Lesa), Bob Grose, Kenny Grose, and Ernie Grose; his beloved dog, Nikki; and a host of extended family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
