Obituary of Jack Bossung

John "Jack" Arthur Bossung, 89, of Jeffersonville, IN, passed away on September 16, 2019 surrounded by his family. 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, September 19, 2019 at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville, with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 3 to 8 PM on Wednesday and from 10 to 11 AM on Thursday at the funeral home. 

John was a retired Supervisor for the Naval Ordinance.  The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Southern Hospice and SonBlest Elder Care for their exceptional care. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Edna Bossung; first wife, Silva Bossung; step-daughter, Jo Ann Mortan; and step-grandchildren, Scott Mortan and Robin Mortan.

John is survived by his loving wife of 9 years, Virginia Hatzell Bossung; brother, Raymond Bossung; step-children, Bobby Kircher (Sheila), Steve Kircher, Sharon Tolle, Susan Hall (Mike), David Kircher, and Joyce Moscoe.
