Obituary of Nathan Layne Wattenberg

Nathan Layne Wattenberg, 5, of Jeffersonville, IN passed away on September 19, 2019.  His favorite things to do was listening to music and playing with his brother and sister.  Nathan had the biggest smile and could always brighten your day.  He was a superhero that wasn’t supposed to make it the day he was born.  With his fighting spirit, he gave five loving years through his perseverance.  Nathan touched everyone’s heart and brought so much joy to everyone. 

Visitation will be Thursday, September 26, 2019, at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville, IN from 3pm-6pm with a celebration of Nathan’s life beginning at 6pm.  A graveside service will be held Friday, September 27, 2019, at Garland Brooks Cemetery, 501 N. Gladstone Avenue, Columbus, IN 47201 at 1pm. 

Nathan is survived by his mother, Sara Neathamer; father, Adam Wattenberg; sister, ShyAnne Wattenberg; brother, Jayden Neathamer, grandmother, Cathy( Ronald)  Kozak; grandfathers, Ira Wattenberg and Ronald Downing; aunts, Alisha (Gerald Heston)  Kozak, Christy Elder, Karrisa Stuck and Morgan Miller; uncles, Ryan Downing, Bruce Winburn, Ricardo Stuck, Jr and Sean Elder; godparents, Mike and Misty Kurz; cousins, Azaria Kozak, Za’Nia Kozak, Ariah Kozak, Nona’Bell Heston and numerous extended family.
