Dear sweet Poppa Doo,
Herroh?
You made your departure a month ago, and I still cannot believe it. We miss you incredibly. We made the trip to Texas and scattered some of your ashes. It was a bittersweet trip, but we enjoyed it the best we could.
I love you more than allllllllllllll the leaves that change color and fall every autumn.

Terry Light was an amazing man who was fun and extremely smart and will be terribly missed by his friends and family. He loved fishing and golfing and I will always remember his smile and his laugh. He was very much loved by his family. Rest in Peace Terry Lee Light.

Terry Light was a dear friend and a gentle soul. He was kind to everyone.
I met Terry when we were students at Stephen F. Austin State University. It was crazy turbulent times of the early 70’s. He and Robert, my future husband, partied hard and spent hours tromping the Piney Woods with their beagle pups. We went camping and skinny dipping at the lake. Young hippies finding fun in simple pleasures.
Those experiences forged a friendship that lasted 50 years. I’ll miss you, Brother, but I know you’ll be cheering on the Astros from heaven.
