Obituary of Clara Ellen Swallows

Clara Ellen Swallows, 75, of Jeffersonville, IN, passed away on October, 30, 2019.  She loved life to the fullest and was a wonderful person who could bring a smile to your face.  Clara enjoyed traveling, watching sunsets and spending time with her family and friends.  Clara’s passion was love of animals and nature.  She shared her knowledge and wisdom as an inspiration to all.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Mary Ellen Swallows; sisters, Patty Colglazier and Joyce Farris and brothers, Edward Swallows and Bobby Swallows.     

Clara is survived by her sisters, Arlene Bottorff and Rena (Bob) Striegel; brother, Harvey Swallows and numerous, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and friends.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      

A gathering for Clara will be Wednesday, November 6, 2019, at Falls of the Ohio, 201 W. Riverside Drive, Clarksville, IN  47129, from 4pm-6pm with a celebration of Clara’s life beginning at 6pm.
