Obituary of Howard L. Sparks

Howard L. Sparks 89; Clarksville, IN Howard L. Sparks, 89, of Clarksville, Indiana passed away in the early morning hours of November 1, 2013 with family at his side. Howard was a loving and devoted husband to his wife, Helen R. Sparks (Rothrock) for over 59 years and was a dedicated father and role model to his children and daughter-in-law, Cheri L. Sparks of Clarksville, son; Kevin Sparks and Mindy L. Sparks (Miller) of Charlestown. His grandchildren, Hannah L. Sparks and Ethan A. Sparks were the light of his life. Howard was retired from Indiana American Water Company where he was a loyal employee for over 50 years. In addition to his wife, children, and grandchildren, he is survived by a sister; Jean Wise and her husband Gerald and brother; Paul Sparks. Visitation will be held at Scott Funeral Home, Sunday, November 3, 2013 from 1pm to 6pm with service following at 6pm. Graveside will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday November 4, 2013 at Thompson Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery in Depauw, IN.
