Obituary of Olene Fern Cox

Olene Fern Cox 88; Jeffersonville, IN Funeral services for Olene Fern Cox, 88, of Jeffersonville, IN, will be held on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Legacy Funeral Center, 921 Main Street, Jeffersonville, IN, with burial in East Cemetery, Leavenworth, IN. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 from 5 to 8 PM at the funeral home. She passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2013 at Riverview Village. Olene was a retired Inspector at the Indiana Army Ammunition Plant in Charlestown, IN. The family would like to thank the staff at Riverview Village for their compassion and care given to our family. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Emery Cox; parents, Jesse and Olive Bills; and her daughter, Sandra Jean Cox. She is survived by her three daughters, Bonita Fabel (Jim), Debbie Foster (Alan), and Joann Thomas (Kenny); longtime companion, Lloyd Poindexter; six grandchildren, Tracy Rhodes (John), Jamie Dowell (Todd), Brandon Foster (Lara), Jenny Leep (Bryan), Amy Settles (Rusty) and Jodi Bradley (Chris); nine great-grandchildren, Tyler Rhodes, Katie Rhodes, Rhiley Dowell, Kobe Dowell, Bradley Foster, Cody Foster, Haley Foster, Noah Leep, Abby Leep, Peyton Settles and Alex Settles.
