Obituary of Gayle H. Robinson

Gayle H. Robinson 66; Scottsburg, IN A memorial service for Gayle H. Robinson, 66, of Scottsburg, IN, will be held at 6:00 PM on Thursday, August 1, 2013 at Scott Funeral Home's North Chapel in Jeffersonville, IN. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4 to 6 PM at the funeral home. He passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2013. Gayle was a Teacher and Football Coach for Greater Clark County Schools and worked for Cummins Engines in Columbus, IN, and then in personnel in Indianapolis. He attended high school in Tipp City, OH, and continued on to play football at Indiana University, including the 1968 Rose Bowl, where he earned his Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Secondary Education. He was preceded in death by his father, William H. Robinson. He is survived by his loving wife, Karen Robinson; daughter, Kori Horn (Robert) of Scottsburg; mother, Mary Evelyn Orf of Knoxville, TN; granddaughter, Whitley June Horn; and three siblings, Jerry Robinson (Tristan Padua) of Louisville, Susan Robinson of Louisville, and Debbie Potter (Arthur) of Knoxville, TN. Expressions of sympathy can take the form of contributions to the ARDS (Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome) Foundation. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
