Boyd was in my high school class at Jeffersonville High School and we sat next to each other in Mr. Graham's physics class. After graduation, I didn't see him for over forty years when, as fellow dentists, I began seeing him at SIDA meetings. We usually sat at the same table for dinner and caught up on family, travels, and upcoming high school reunions. Boyd was such a kind person and so very personable as well as a great dentist. He will be missed.

I was surprised to hear of Boyd's death. I was a fellow dentist for 25 years and always thought he was a friendly and kind man. We would always speak when we saw each other, mainly at SIDA, and catch up on our lives. I will miss seeing him. Rest in peace.

I had the great fortunate of getting to know, admire and love Boyd Sanders when we were members of the Lambda Chi Alpha chapter at Georgetown College (KY) during the late 1960s. That Boyd served a term as president of the the chapter speaks volumes about the high regard, respect and admiration we all had for Boyd's leadership skills, intelligence and integrity. That each of us could write a book filled with stories of a man who was always there to listen, advise and help is a testament to a genuinely gentle, caring and kind person. He was the very personification of brotherhood, both inside a fraternity and outside in the real world. RIP, Boyd, and sincerest condolences to your family and friends.

Boyd was a great man. He was always there for me at Man Challenge cheering me on as I deepened my relationship with Christ. He would always stop to say hey and ask about life. He will be missed, but I know where he is now! Prayers and condolences to the Sanders family.
