We were saddened to hear of Cary's passing. Cary was a long time neighbor of ours. He was a kind man. He would stop by occasionally to see how we were doing. Always a smile on his face and had a story to share with us. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers.

To Dwight and your family. We are so sorry to hear of the death of your brother. We counted him as a friend for many years. I came by the funeral home this afternoon with a limited time. There was such a long line that I could not stay. I took this as a testament that Cary had made an impact on many people in his lifetime. Praying for you all.

Cary and I met at Sacred Heart Church when Father John Kirby wanted to start a guitar group. We sang for 35 years along with Dino Howard, Karen McCartin Foster, Joe Wheatley and Pat Dages. I left the group seven years ago, but I never forgot the group and the music and friendships that were made. Cary was always interested in our children and families, I was not aware of his illnesses having lost contact since I moved and left the group. My heart is heavy with this loss, Cary took loving care of his mother and father, I know he will be missed. Music was his life and his voice will live on in our hearts and memories.

Fine man. Cary always treated me with respect and was interested with the boys. Without leaders like him, there would be no organizations like Boy Scouts. My son Robert knew him best thru BSA. He will be sad to hear of the loss of such a good person and fellow Scouter.
Kumbaya,
Cary

Cary was my roommate for a year and a good friend. When I moved to Jeffersonville I didn't know anyone or where anything was. Cary took me in as a roommate not knowing who I was and then showed me around the area he was a good friend and a great person he will be missed.

I am truly fortunate to have known Cary and consider him as my friend. It was a pleasure to have served with him on the Boy Scouts of America Board and I will cherish our conversations over the years when he would stop by my office just to chat. Cary was, and is a kind and gentle soul who donated thousands of hours to the youth of Clark County. Cary---you will be missed--and always remembered.q
