You came into my life only a year ago but you impacted it more then I could have even ask for. I will cherish every memory I had with you. Until we meet again Missy!! Love you so very much you beautiful crazy woman!!
To everyone in her family I’am so sorry for your loss. I’am praying for each and every one of you. She talked about you all every single day and loved you all so very much!! You all were her reason for living.

There are so many things I would like to convey about this amazing woman and friend. I have known her since I was 11 years old and we have been in contact since. As you know, there are always a couple of people that have impacted your lives. It's really only a handful but she was one of them in mine. We have gone through good and bad, but mostly we have had extraordinary times. I would just like to hit a few highlights! When I moved to Joliet, we became friends instantly! Her family and mine were welcoming and so we had the priveledge to be a part of both. She was not only my friend.... She was the sister, I never had. We spent a lot of time skating, going to St. Joe's Picnics(actually watching over Mandy- Missy would tell everyone she was older!), we saw Rocky at least 10 times and knew the dialogue and every song, we went to parties (which got me in a lot of trouble but it was so well worth it!) she jumped out of my locker to surprise me on my birthday-which scared the crud out of me, we double dated, had sleep-overs and Mr. James took us to see the Jackson 5 when we were young. (That's when I became a huge Michael Jackson fan! I moved away my sophmore year and can still see Rox and Missy waving goodbye as I cried like a baby! In my senior year, I made an impromptu visit where Missy's parents welcomed me with open arms. After that, she and I made an agreement to stay in touch and that is what we did! I moved to Florida but we still remained close. My husband and I came up to an FFA convention and Missy grabbed me up so that I could visit with her father and precious girls. It was one of the most awesome times of my life! After that, she made several visits that I so cherish. Missy had so many great attributes. She was so funny! Funny to the point that she was so witty! If you ever said anything, her comebacks were priceless. (I always wanted to think that fast,) Her laugh was infectious. She would laugh and something wouldn't even be that funny but her humor made it hysterical! She brightened every room she walked into. I always felt happy with her! Missy was extremely kind-never judgemental. She ALWAYS looked for the good in everyone. She was loving. She always talked about her dad (Mrs. Barbara), her sister (my little sis), her brothers. She absolutely adored Amber and Heather and all the grandbabies! Her family was mine! Everyone treated me with kindenss and love-and that is why my relationship is so special. I cannot get over and will not understand why precious Missy is gone at such a young age, but I will always miss and love her until I see her again! Lackore Family, you are in my thoughts and prayers. Missy was an inspiration and guiding light that will be forever in my heart! I love you!

I miss you so much!!! You’ve been such a wonderful mom, the best I could ever wish for, most especially within these last few years! I am so blessed to have had all of these recent, happy, loving memories! You are the kindest, caring person I’ve ever known. It’s safe to say Heather and I get that from you. The love that you have shared with Heather, the kids, and myself is enough to last a lifetime-even if yours was cut way too short. We will cherish your memories and carry on your loving spirit. Laser Tag will never be the same without you. You’ve made so many fun memories the kids will never forget. Tell Grandma I said ’Ambee’ says hello! Until we meet again. Love you mamma!

Missy was the sweetest, most generous, kindest person I knew. She was my best friend and I cannot believe she is gone. We were each other's "therapists', confidants, each making the other feel better just by listening. She loved and was so very proud of her daughter, Amber and Heather and she simply adored her grandchildren and cherished every moment she spent with them. I hope you are at peace Missy, you will be greatly missed by all of us who loved you. Until we meet again, my friend.
