Obituary of Melissa "Missy" Sutton

Memorial visitation for Melissa “Missy” Sutton, 55, of Jeffersonville, IN, will be held from 4-8 PM on Monday, July 9, 2018, at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Pkwy in Jeffersonville.  She passed away on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at her home. 

Missy was born on September 19, 1962 in Clinton, NY, and was currently working at Autoneum in Jeffersonville.  She was most happy when spending time or playing laser tag with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jeff Sutton; and her mother, Mary Ellen Lackore.

Missy is survived by her two daughters, Amber Thorpe (Jack); Heather Schmitt (Eric); her father, James Lackore (Barbara); three siblings, Greg Lackore (Stella); Lu Lackore (Peggy); Amanda Keeton (Lowell); eight grandchildren, Grace, Cash, Sydney, Alex, Madisyn, Jackson, Gage, Perri; great grandson, Grayson; and several nieces and nephews.
