I had the privilege of knowing Vada through my years as a teacher at Clarksville Co Schools. She was the hardest working woman I have ever known. She took such a pride in her work and ran circles around everyone. I remember Vada as always kind, positive, and full of energy. My condolences to her family.

You will be deeply missed by our family. We didn’t know that mom would be joined with her best friend so soon. You have been a part of our family for as long as I can remember and always been a helping hand from the beginning. We love you Vada as Mom said many times she had a lot of friends but you were always her best. I pray for your family. Losing mom and now you in such a short period or time is a lot of grief for all of us that love you. You will never be forgotten. Love Rita

My favorite memory of Vada is helping her clean the gym at clarksville high school for graduation .
I feel like Vada had four loves in her life, God,family, friends and Clarksville community schools.(which she always gave
110%)
I will miss my hardworking friend and cleaning buddy, I hope to see her again (most likely cleaning the gates of heaven.)

Ms Veda was adored by both my mother and father. Her weekly visits to watch Survivor with my Mom continued after my parents moved from their home to Riverbend.
Ms Veda was Mom's last link to my Dad which made their friendship all the more sweet and forever enduring.
We wish to honor this remarkable woman and to let her family know how very much she meant to us all.
May God's love and peace be with Ms Veda's family always.

A New Life
Our loved ones don't die; they start a new life instead!
They haven't left us; they've just gone on ahead!
We will miss and grieve them, while we're still alive
But they're waiting, with open arms, for us to arrive!
The emptiness and pain, in our hearts, is hard to bear
But their loving memories will comfort us there!
We must look to our family and friends, to lend a hand
And help us on our journey, 'til we leave this mortal land!
Our love still grows for the special people we miss,
Because we still feel the warmth of their touch or kiss!
So, you see, they are still with us in so many ways,
And their love will give us strength 'til our final days!!

I will truly miss my dear friend. She was my walking partner for 22 years. She was the most dependable person I ever met. When she said she was going to do
something, you could always depend on her! Heaven is going to get a wonderful lady.
My wife Mary is going to miss her too. We shared many good times and had many laughs ! She was a sweetheart !

Heartbroken! Vada was a superstar of a person. Spunky, clever, and loved me as her own. I can remember so many things looking back. I loved her too....

I have known Veda my entire life. She watched me walk to school as a child and then later watched me clean my classroom as a teacher. She was always in the know and understood what was ‘really happening’ even when everyone else was being told it was something different.
To me, Veda is the epitome of what a good neighbor is. She was always willing to talk, never too busy for anyone, and when in the company of others, still took time to acknowledge she saw me with a wife and a mouthed ‘Hello!’
I will miss this lovely lady. I will miss running into her at Kroger or at Derby Dinner or wherever we might pass each other. Though we aren’t related, per se, I still consider her family. I truly love her that way.
